Tell Us A Little Bit About Your Weight Struggle
I’ve been over weight since I was a child. This is my second time now trying to lose weight. I remember last year, wondering and asking myself what was the point, thinking I couldn’t do it again. I was feeling weak mentally and physically tired.
And then it clicked. I told myself Ari, you are a Beast and this time you’ll make it better. You’ve already lost 60kg (about 132 pounds), so 15kg (about 33 pounds) is nothing. I have become so much stronger and I’m getting my confidence back.
This is a reminder that it’s ok to fall off track, and habe bad weeks months or years. Most important is what you make out of it after.
LETS get strong together physically and mentally I’m here for you I’ve been down that road at-least 25 times and each time I’m coming back STRONGER.
What Was Your Wake-Up Call Or “A-Ha Moment” That Caused You To Really Commit Yourself To Succeeding?
I was running out of time and I couldn’t continue to run from my weight problem. I couldn’t continue living unhealthy. I couldn’t continue looking into the mirror and not loving myself. I couldn’t continue damaging my soul. I couldn’t continue living like THAT. It had to stop. I decided from one day to the other that something need to change and here I am Shining.
It wasn’t easy this journey. It has changed me completely. It’s made me value a lot more things like my family, especially my mum and sisters because they never gave up on me. They motivated me, pushed me and here I am. Thank you!!
How Have Your Eating Habits Changed Since Beginning Your Journey? What Did You Eat Before And What Are You Eating Now?
I’ve stopped eating candy all day and focus on lean proteins, whole grains and complex carbs.
What Is The Difference In Your Fitness Before You Started And Now?
I’ve learned all about nutrition, the importance of exercise and now coach other people.
I’m not a Dreamer, I’m a Maker. I’m not a Follower, I’m a Leader. This has been my motivation for my gym journey. There were many rough days and times when I just wanted to give up, but then I remembered it’s in my bloodline—I’m a go-getta!
What Has Been The Biggest Change/Payoff For You So Far?
I am living proof that is IS possible. I have crawled through broken glass to get here. I have been rock bottom and somehow dug my way out. This is willpower, this is dedication, this is sacrifice, this is goin after the dream and never quitting.
