I hated having my photo taken…
Believe it or not… there was a time when I was deathly afraid of having my photo taken with my fit (aka thin) friends. I actually hated it.
My “photo-phobia” all started when I set out for a wild weekend at the ski slopes with a bunch of my close girlfriends… I was having the time of my life… eating, drinking and having lots of laughs with the gals. (At that time in my life, I didn’t know anything about a macro resource for weight loss.)
But the good times quickly came to a grinding halt when I posted my pics on Facebook and that’s when things started to get ugly.
Ugh, I knew I had a weight problem. I was well aware of my uncontrollable sugar cravings. Of course, I planned to lose weight someday, but I didn’t think it was all that bad.
But reality hit me like a semi-truck plowing down the highway at 100 miles per hour when I saw the passive-aggressive comments on my FB posts!
I posted a group photo… and most of the comments were awesome. But then came this comment:
“You girls look fabulous! Even you Tina :)”
Oof.
Okay? Why did I get singled out? Had I let myself go that much?
That comment was the nail in the coffin… I felt so utterly embarrassed and full of shame.
I don’t know if you’ve felt anything like this before, but I don’t wish that kind of humiliation on anyone. But looking back at it now, a part of me is glad I had to endure that heartache. Because it was this horribly depressing experience that finally lit a fire under my butt and FORCED me to take action. Although, full transparency, it wasn’t all smooth sailing from there…
Even after months of hitting the gym, busting my butt on the treadmill, trying to eat “healthy” food, and nearly starving myself…
The results just didn’t show. I realized I was doing it all wrong… something else was at play here.
My weight loss breakthrough
It wasn’t until I went deep into studying nutrition that I finally had my weight loss breakthrough. You see, the real root cause of weight gain has nothing to do with your workouts or how little you eat.
In fact, I found that eating your favorite foods is the only long-term solution for staying slim, lean and sexy.
It took me almost two years of working on my nutrition to finally discover the REAL secret to losing weight… and it has everything to do with tracking macros. For me it was the magic ingredient that made losing weight easy and as natural as breathing!
Macronutrients (aka macros) are the main food components your body needs to maintain its structures and systems, including your FAT burning systems. By providing your body with the right amount of each Macro, from specific types of foods, you can essentially turn your body into a well-oiled, fat-burning machine! With your body firing on all cylinders, you not only lose weight, but you’ll begin to see an overall improvement in your skin, hair, energy, health and even your mood.
I didn’t want other women to struggle like I did, so I decided to share my nutrition secrets with other women who were stuck where I had been. I wanted to make tracking Macros and losing weight easy for even complete beginners, without you having to study nutrition for years and make countless mistakes like I did…
And I’ve laid out the entire system in my #LeanMacrosBundle for you to begin using right away.
